The most fuel-efficient model in the Prius lineup, according to Toyota, was unveiled at an event just before the 2022 Los Angeles Auto Show.

Toyota has added a larger two-liter gas engine to the Prius because it is still a hybrid and does not solely run on electricity. According to the manufacturer, the Front-Wheel Drive models have 194 horsepower and can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7.2 seconds, which is faster than the 9.8 seconds it took for the previous FWD models. The models with All-Wheel Drive can go from 0 to 60 mph in 7 seconds and produce 196 horsepower. There are three drive modes on all models:The Eco mode improves fuel economy, while the Power and Sport modes improve throttle response.
